Victor Rydén from Södertälje Padelklubb was the only Swedish who managed to make it to Sunday.
After a real fight against seeded player Julius Aleksandrovas from Lithuania, Victor managed to win 7-6, 4-6, 10-7, extremely close to say the least. Victor, who is only 12 years old (two years young) has shown great form, not just in the Royal Tennis Club, but recently also winning both singles and doubles in a U12-tournament in Denmark.
You have clear evidence of the new Super Category status, only by looking at the line-up of the 2020 Kungens Kanna & Drottningens Pris. Unfortunately, it was a demolition for the Swedish players today, with only one out of 22 players surviving.
